Survival® Basic Two-Day Caregiver Course Incl CPR & First Aid
Our Two-Day Caregiver Course provides you with the essential skills needed to care for elderly or frail individuals.
This Two-Day Caregiver Course will cover the following:
- Day 1: Practical Care Training: Led by experienced Nursing Sisters, you will gain hands on skills in:
- Assisting with daily care: washing, mouth care, feeding, bathing and mobility support.
- Transferring patients safely (bed to wheelchair, etc).
- Passive exercises and pressure area care.
- Basic wound care and infection awareness.
- Food hygiene, medication support and companionship.
- This is a certified course.
- Day 2: CPR & First Aid: Delivered by Survival CPR Instructors, this accredited course (American Heart Association) will equip you with lifesaving emergency skills, including:
- CPR and choking management for adults, children and infants. AED (Automated External Defibrillator), used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
- Managing common first aid emergencies and accidents.
- Responding quickly and safely in critical situations.

By the end of this short but intensive course, you will have a solid foundation in both practical caregiving and emergency response, preparing you to provide safe, compassionate care at home or in a professional setting.
