Nanny and childminder CPR and First Aid Course | Sandton | 4 December
As a parent, it is important that the person looking after your child has the skills to handle an emergency at home. If you have a nanny / childminder who cares for your child whilst you are at work, you should ensure know CPR and First Aid. This course empowers a nanny / childminder how to handle an accident or emergency involving babies and children. The course covers how to handle all first aid emergencies as well as life saving CPR skills.
COURSE CONTENT
- Baby and child resuscitation and CPR and home safety.
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
- Emergency access.
- Drowning, high temperatures and febrile convulsions.
- Baby and child choking.
- Head injuries, concussions, bleeding, burns, fractures, shock.
- Anaphylaxis and allergies and poisons.
- Childhood illnesses and baby medications.
CERTIFICATION
- Certified and endorsed by the Resuscitation Council of South Africa and the American Heart Association.
- Discovery members will earn 1000 Discovery miles.
- Valid for two years.
