Level 1 First Aid Course

Any workplace with more than ten employees must have a trained first aider and first aid supplies on the premises, according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. We offer you a First Aid accredited Course.

Course Cost

Department of Labour accredited. The certificate is valid for three years.
R 1250 per person
  • A 16 hour practical course taught by our instructors
  • Course instructors are registered Nursing Sisters
  • Practical demonstrations to practice on the CPR mannequins
  • An airway (or one way valve)
  • Department of Labour accredited.
  • Valid for three years.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for individuals with no or limited medical training who require a Department of Labour First Aid Certificate of Competence for workplace, regulatory, or other compliance requirements.

 

It equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills to provide effective CPR and First Aid to victims of all ages in emergencies.

  • Use of a barrier device & pocket mask
  • Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
  • Secondary survey (head-to-toe)
  • Splinting methods
  • Bleeding control methods
